Big Bad and the Widow Red

Um...i sketch of something i started drawing about a hundred years ago. I had this spate of actually thinking through some of the older fairy tales.

Little Red Riding Hood is flawed on oh-so many levels, why would you send a six year old into the woods when there's wolves, bears, bandits thieves and vagabonds abounding?

Unless of course you wanna off the Little Red...

So i thought it much more likely that a widow living secluded in the woods was more likely to come across a wolf such as the big bad here...

Widow Red is more of a herbalist doctor than an out and out witch...but Big Bad doesn't know that and he's out for vengance on the woman who cursed him into this form.

He sees the comely wench gathering herbs and decides that perhaps taking a bite out of her will be ample revenge...or maybe stealing a kiss, she really is much better looking up close and smells...gooood.

I did have a whole story for this mapped out and i may even write it one day.

Set in 1700's France.
